SMES-Europa invite you to participate in  3rd Workshop 'Dignity & Well-being' to be held - after Warsaw (1-3 October 2015), Athens (16-18 April 2016), in Copenhagen on 27-29 October 2016.

purpose

European exchanges and inter-visions project concerning the pathways and the interventions about homeless and mentally ill people

PARTICIPANTS

Not more than 20-30 participants: 10 from outside and 15  from inside welcome country, in order to facilitate the exchanges .

Colleagues working in the field of mental health and social exclusion in favour and avec homeless people with mental health problems, daily working in  
a) mental health services : psychiatric hospitals, emergency, mental health services in the city …

b) social assistance and emergency  services: shelters, food – clothes – shower for poor, drop inn center, etc.

c) housing services   (different kind : housing first, community home, solidarity housing, etc.)

d) reintegration services  and  specially street workers , (mobile units) who are working in relation with all this four services, specialized in generic assistance services, or in health/mental health, for drug addicts..

ACTIVE

PARTICIPATION 

Each participant (one from different Organisation, Association) is invited to prepare a ‘study caseabout an individual homeless and mental illness person that own association have in cure or in care, and draw up a profile by following the common protocol that will serve to collect common and different elements that will be useful for discussion at time of workshop. (please cf. protocol)

The profile of individual homeless and mental ill people, prepared  by local team which have in charge this individual homeless, it is at base of  inter-vision, discussion and evaluation in workshops, in order to bring out the relevant similar and different points  and dynamics, at base of each intervention.

The main points of these profiles discussed, explored and evaluated may provide valuable insights for the upcoming XIV European SMES Seminar that will be held in Lisbon  the  16-17-18 March  2017

Thursday 27  October  : from 2 pm,  it’s dedicated to the study/visits of services; (optional in the morning and night) 

Friday 28 October : all day dedicated to inter-vision / peer evaluation  of  study/cases  (profiles);

Saturday 29  October : morning, dedicated to focus group on Migrants - Refugees - Asylum seekers
Convention's and fundamental rights:  social and health condition, community services, solidarity  services, social cohesion and  dramatic conditions in European Community.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT

SMES-Europa has a small budget in order to facilitate the participation on th 3rd Workshop 'Dignity & Well-being' of the delegates who cannot be supported by own Association for  travel or accommodation, or both .
